Livestock arrival department is the first starting section in poultry processing. When the poultry raised in farms are ready for slaughtering, they are loaded on vehicles and transferred to the slaughterhouse. This process is often performed by placing the poultry in cases, and loading the cases on the vehicles for shipping. Before the products are introduced to the slaughterhouse, certain processes are performed to ensure the health of the poultry. The requirements for machinery and equipment to be used for this purpose are addressed. The machinery and equipment are selected according to the capacity of the facility.
